Reconciled with God

Col 1 v 21 – 23

21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— 23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel.

Brothers, I have been a little under the weather for the last couple of days and slowly emerging so to speak… hard to think that we were enemies of God and even  more so that our behavior was evil and hostile towards Him.  Even now, our minds tend to wander off when we are not fully emerged in Christ.  This is when we give in to the flesh and therefore we should also put our physical body’s desires to death, so that we can stand blameless in His sight.  Therefore, continue in your faith in the risen Christ, our Messiah.  Walk in the Spirit continually, seeking His will, putting your hope in the gospel, which has saved us and continues to save us while in the flesh, until that day when we are reconciled with our beloved Saviour.  Let us look forward to this day, but also keep in mind that we have to finish this race and give Him everything we have, until our last breath – should He not have returned yet.
