Biblical joy

Once we understand our selfish actions and transgressions are sins committed against the Lord, we realize He is righteous in His judgment.

I pray the Lord will open;

• our eyes, so that we will see ourselves for who we really are
• our ears, in order to hear His still small voice and
• our mind to the understanding of His Word.

May He cleanse our hearts and restore our spirit, that we may stand blameless before Him, that we may experience the joy of His salvation.

Let us worship joyfully with a broken and contrite heart and kneel before His throne with a broken spirit, knowing He will renew our soul.
